Service in the Stamford Area
A Sunday service schedule is operated on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day. There is no service on Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, or Christmas Day. Regularly scheduled service operates on all other holidays.

Service in the Waterbury Area
Bus service does not operate on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, or Christmas Day.

Service in the New Britain/Bristol Area
Bus service does not operate on Sundays, or the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, or Christmas Day.

Service in Meriden & Wallingford
Bus service does not operate on Saturdays, Sundays, or the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, or Christmas Day.

- - Bus Stops - -

Bus stops are generally located every 1-2 blocks along each bus route. The majority of the bus stops located throughout the Hartford, New Haven and Stamford areas are marked with Bus Stop Signs, or in some instances a white band painted on a utility pole. Routes in some communities do not have marked bus stops and require the use of "flag stops". You may flag down a bus only in these areas without a posted bus stop sign.

- - Accessibility for Persons with Disabilities - -

All CTTRANSIT buses are accessible to persons with disabilities. Each bus is equipped with a wheelchair lift or ramp and two wheelchair tie-down positions.

CTTRANSIT buses are also equipped with a kneeling feature which lowers the bus to reduce the first step height for persons who have difficulty with stepping up or down. Please ask the driver to lower the bus to assist with your boarding or alighting.
