- - Accessibility for Persons with Disabilities - -

All CTTRANSIT buses are accessible to persons with disabilities. Each bus is equipped with a wheelchair lift or ramp and two wheelchair tie-down positions.

CTTRANSIT buses are also equipped with a kneeling feature which lowers the bus to reduce the first step height for persons who have difficulty with stepping up or down. Please ask the driver to lower the bus to assist with your boarding or alighting.

- - Senior/Disabled Reduced Fare Program - -

Senior Citizens and Persons with Disabilities may travel on CTTRANSIT for half fare at any time of the day. Just show your Medicare card to the driver to be eligible for this reduced fare.

Don't have a Medicare card? If you are 65 years or older or have a qualifying disability you may apply for a CT Reduced Fare Photo ID Card. Please complete the Reduced Fare ID Application and return to CTTRANSIT.
